Video creation workflow 2026

Here’s a workflow I tried in September 2026:

  1. Write the script, roughly divided into segments or scenes
  2. Record the voiceover using the Voice Memos app on iPhone.
  3. Edit the clip and switch “Studio Voice” on, to level 50.
  4. Record the main clips and any B-roll
  5. Edit it all together in iMovie, keep the voiceover mostly unedited and just lay the clips on top.
  6. Export the movie
  7. Load into Whisper to get a transcript
  8. Get Claude to analyse the transcript and make recommendations
  9. Re-edit and publish the finished thing.
